A primary focus of Gary’s practice is providing advice and representation to non-hospital based health care providers on matters of regulatory compliance, contracting, business operation, transactions, Medicaid fraud and HIPAA privacy and security. Along with our sister company, Midwest Compliance Associates, Gary can help you build a compliance program “from the ground up”, or enhance your existing program. One of the most important services we provide is the facilitation of organizational risk assessments. Failure to have a meaningful risk assessment in place puts a provider behind the curve when the regulators visit.

Gary spends a great deal of time training health care employees on HIPAA and corporate compliance and ethics. He is a frequent speaker nationally on health care related topics such as workplace investigations, compliance, risk assessment, and how to build an effective HIPAA program.
